Galveston County Youth Soccer would like to seek your support in sponsoring a youth soccer team
or individual for the upcoming soccer season. Our program
is open to all youth ages four to eighteen. The soccer program continues to grow in the Galveston County area each year.
We have several sponsor programs available and you should know that any contribution to GCYS is a charitable contribution and enjoys
the tax benefits associated with those types of contributions. We want you or your business to become known as a sponsor of the fastest
growing sport in the USA.

CLUB SPONSOR: ($1000 +) Team Sponsor benefits, plus.... When you become a club sponsor your Organization’s name/logo will appear on the Home page of the
club’s website and link to Sponsor’s website. GCYS will use every opportunity to recognize you as a sponsor in our publicity.
TEAM SPONSOR: ($500) When you become a team sponsor your Organization’s name is printed on the back of each team member’s
jersey. In order to have your Organization name printed on the back of the team’s jerseys, the donation would need to be made prior to
August 1st.
INDIVIDUAL SCHOLARSHIP: Even though our fees are low, some families in our community cannot afford the player registration
fee. Through this sponsor program we find funds to cover the cost for these children to play soccer.
- $100 for the U5 - U8 player
- $200 for the U9 & Up player
FIELD SPONSOR: For a tax deductible donation, you can participate in the soccer movement. This donation is used to defray the
costs associated with field maintenance and general programs. No contribution is too small to help.
At GCYS, we feel that organized sports are important because it gives youth the opportunity to:
- Have fun participating in a sport they like.
- Learn the importance of teamwork.
- Learn the importance of good physical conditioning.
- Acquire leadership qualities.
- Acquire independence.
- Build good character traits.
Sponsorship by companies is important to the continued success of our club. These monies are used to purchase uniforms and equipment
enabling us to keep costs to parents at a minimum. Because of our generous sponsors we are also able to offer scholarships that allow
the less fortunate to be part of our “team”!
Of course the players will benefit from the sponsorship of area businesses but we like to think that companies such as yours would benefit
as well! Should you decide to become a member of the GCYS through corporate or small business sponsorship your company name will be
imprinted on the jerseys of one of our teams which will be seen all over the state of Texas. Many of our teams play soccer year round,
in tournaments from Dallas to San Antonio, Beaumont to Austin! This type of exposure is a positive reflection of your company and shows
your commitment to youth and their future.
We are proud to note that organized club soccer also helps the economy of Galveston County. In June some 100+ teams and their families are
expected to travel to Galveston County to participate in Funfest! Our own Tune-Up Tournament, held in August will bring some 175+ teams into
the area. Add to those two tournaments 10 weeks during the Fall season when players and their families from other clubs will visit our fair
city to try to beat one of our AWESOME GCYS teams (good luck – it’s going to be tough). Local revenues should definitely increase due to the
GCYS and its activities!
