    Help Kids Defeat the HEAT!!
The "ABCs" are an easy way for kids and parents to remember how to Defeat the Heat:

    • Always drink before, during and after activity to replace what you've lost through sweat
    • Bring the right fluids. DURING physical activity, water is the best replacement fluid. Post-activity warrants electrolyte replacement which can be provided by sports drinks.
    • Consider fluids as part of the essential safety equipment for sports

Click here for more information on Dehydration and Other Heat Illnesses in Children.
